Snapshot Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1

What is Snapshot?

Accepted Answer

Snapshot is a simple student profile that combines a resume, a short audio intro, and, when applicable, a portfolio or work sample. It helps students share more than a resume alone and gives employers added context before and after recruiting events.

Question 2

Who is Snapshot for?

Accepted Answer

Snapshot is for PR students and grads participating in events where Snapshot is being used, as well as employers recruiting from those events.

Question 3

How do students create a Snapshot?

Accepted Answer

Students can create a Snapshot by uploading their resume and recording a short audio intro.

Question 4

Why does Snapshot include audio?

Accepted Answer

Audio gives employers added context that a resume usually cannot provide. A short response can help show how a student communicates, what they are interested in, and how they talk about their experience.

Question 5

Does Snapshot replace in-person PR career fairs?

Accepted Answer

No! Snapshot supports Instituto Tecnologico de Puerto Rico-Recinto de Ponce career fairs, recruiting events, and mixers. It helps students and employers connect before, during and after those events.
